Groen

Groen vormt de balans tussen warm en koel. Het is de weerspiegeling van groei, hoop, balans, jong, gezond, ... Groen is een natuurlijke kleur en heeft een vitaal effect. Ze is lumineus en verwarmt het beeld. Ze reflecteert het licht en in het gebruik als lettertype heeft ze nood aan duidelijke contrasten.

Zand is een introvert kleur en laat andere kleuren stralen. Het zandkleur representeert veiligheid, comfort, plichtsbewustheid, ... Het is een verwarmende kleur en verbindt het beeld. Ze roept niet teveel aandacht op. De luminositeit is matig. Het kleur verzacht.

Gras groen

Het gras groen staat voor gezondheid, vriendelijkheid, vrijgevigheid. Het is makkelijk leesbaar in tekst, het verwarmt het geheel en voelt tegelijk ook fris aan.

Blauw

Blauw straalt creativiteit uit, communicatie, doelgerichtheid en ambitie. Ook dit is een makkelijk leesbaar kleur in tekst en zorgt voor verkoeling van het geheel.

Inkt

Inktblauw is de kleur van autoriteit en beschikt over visie en zakelijkheid. Het verkleint het beeld doordat het het geheel verdonkert maar zorgt wel voor focus en hoge leesbaarheid.

Lime

Lime is jong, speels en optimistisch. Dit kleur kan niet gebruikt worden in tekst omdat het moeilijk leesbaar is. Het kan wel gebruikt worden in beelden om deze te verlichten.

Aqua

Aqua staat voor innovatie en bevordert communicatie en kennisoverdracht. Het helpt bij het goed verwoorden van ideeën en concepten. Het is moeilijk leesbaar maar creëert wel ruimte in beelden.

Oranje

Oranje is een zeer uitnodigende en warme kleur. Het inspireert en motiveert. Het oranje heeft een grote impact waardoor deze kleur best in kleine verhoudingen kan gebruikt worden.

Nuances

Brand kleuren

De kleuren zijn op naam gecategoriseerd: diepe tonen, hoofdkleuren, middentonen en lichte tonen. De verschillende groepen hebben bepaalde kenmerken, die van invloed zijn op de manier waarop deze kleuren kunnen worden gebruikt. Denk aan achtergronden, tekst, citaten, grafieken, pictogrammen, ... Afhankelijk van de toepassing (achtergrond, tekst, iconen, quotes,…) ondersteunen zij het visuele beeld.

De hoofdkleuren moeten steeds aanwezig zijn om herkenning van het brand te verhogen.

Context kleuren

Ook voor de contextkleuren wordt een vereenvoudigde versie voorgesteld van de nuances. Het uitgebreide palet toont veel opties bij nuancering variërend van 100% tot 10%. Om het kleurendashboard flexibeler en eenvoudiger in gebruik te maken, stellen we voor om slechts 4 lichtere opties per kleur te behouden, plus enkele donkere nuances, indien nodig.

Deze verkorte versie zal meer van toepassing zijn. Door grotere sprongen in nuances te gebruiken, wordt een duidelijker beeld gecreëerd en verschillen de kleuren genoeg van elkaar. Dit vereenvoudigd palet voor bepaalde grafische toepassingen zorgt voor eenvoud en consistentie in het kleurgebruik. Het aantal fouten met betrekking tot contrasten zal kleiner zijn en er wordt een meer evenwichtig beeld opgesteld.
